1. Real foxes can’t talk.

Foxes can’t speak like we do. But they can make a lot of other noises. Foxes can bark, whine, and even scream!

2. Some foxes can climb trees.

There are different types of foxes. Red foxes aren’t great at climbing trees. But gray foxes are amazing at it! They use their claws to hang on to the trees.

3. Foxes have good eyesight.

Their eyes notice even the smallest movements. That helps them find mice and other small animals to eat. Foxes also see very well in the dark.

4. Foxes can swim if they have to.

Foxes would rather stay on land. But they might swim to escape other animals. They might also swim to reach a tasty meal!

5. Foxes often live with their families.

Foxes don’t live in big groups. They live alone or with another fox and their babies. Fox babies are called pups or kits.
