How Students Can Log In
How Students Can Log In
When students and families go to the magazine website, they’ll need to log in to see the student view. It takes only a few seconds, following these steps:

That’s it! Once they sign in, they’re taken to the website's student view. And if your school is using a Learning Management System like Google Classroom or Clever, the process is even simpler. Once you synch your account with Scholastic, all your students need to do is click the Google Classroom or Clever buttons. They will not need a classroom password.

Finding Your Classroom Password
Finding Your Classroom Password
Looking for your classroom password? Click the silhouette icon on the top right of the website and go to your dashboard.
On the left, you’ll see a purple box labeled Classroom Password. You can edit the password that’s there if you choose, then share it with your students. This is the password they’ll use to log in to the site.

If you’re using a learning management system like Clever, Canvas, or Google Classroom, we may also be able to set up single-sign on access for your students. Learn more about that here.
Using the Send-Home Letter
Using the Send-Home Letter
We realize how vital the school-to-home connection is, and our goal is to make it easier for you to build that connection, so we’ve created letters for you to share with your students' families. These letters introduce parents and familes to Storyworks 2. They provide parents and families with an easy way to send home your classroom password, so families can read the digital issue and navigate the website. Every letter is available in English and Spanish. We also created a version for you to send to parents and families if you use Google Classroom or Clever in English and Spanish.
You’ll find a Send-Home Letter link at the top of every issue page:

...and on the home page:

There are several ways you can share the letter with families:
- Download the PDF and attach it to an email.
- Post it on a class webpage.
- Upload the PDF to Google Classroom.
- Copy the link to the PDF and paste it into a post on Google Classroom or another learning management system.
- Copy and paste the text of the letter into an email or text message.
- If you are still in school, photocopy it to send home with students.
