The Pool!

First of all, the ocean has waves! It’s hard to swim in them. The pool has calm water. It’s much more relaxing.
Next, the ocean is by the beach, and the beach is sandy. The pool doesn’t have any sand. You can swim without getting scratchy sand in your swimsuit. Sand is the worst!
Finally, it’s easier to play games like Marco Polo in the pool. The pool has a big slide too. The ocean doesn’t have that!

First of all, I love swimming in waves! My dad taught me how. I love diving under the waves and getting splashed in the face. It’s so fun!
Next, you can find incredible things in the ocean. Fish swim by my feet. All kinds of shells wash up on the beach. I also love watching tiny crabs burrowing into the sand.
Finally, the ocean is beautiful. The sunlight sparkles on the water. I also love the sound of the ocean. Being in the ocean makes me feel peaceful and happy.
