Last year, a team of LEGO® builders had a big job. They had to make 10 normal-sized race cars with LEGO bricks! Could they do it?
Building the Cars
First, they built small cars with LEGO bricks. These were the models of the bigger race cars.
Then, they used computers. That helped them plan how to make the big cars.
Next, they built the cars. They glued the bricks together. It took about half a million LEGO bricks for each car.
Driving the Cars
At last, the cars were ready! Real race car drivers got inside. They drove around a racetrack.
The LEGO cars didn’t go very fast. But they were still amazing. “I couldn’t believe it!” said one of the drivers
